Service Routing Core seems to be down

This was due to an unexpected issue with one of our upstream transit providers. We routed around the problem pretty quickly and got things back up.

The problem was caused by the provider continuing to present to us as if it could route our traffic but not actually doing so, so blackholing the outbound traffic.

We’re in discussions with that provider about having some better tests in place before announcing routes to us.

Service is back up.

According to our monitoring system this service has become unresponsive, we’re investigating.
